As a staff editor, I’ve edited everything from blog posts to maps to personal essays. My longest-running editorial project involved launching and overseeing Curbed’s longform features program. As a freelance editor, I work with publications and companies to execute on their editorial strategies. I also work with individual writers on all kinds of projects, including middle-grade and YA novels, non-fiction books, and academic writing.
As an educator, I’ve worked with high school students on their writing across genres through Write the World and Girls Write Now. I served as the first college essay specialist in the college office at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School, developing the school’s college essay programming and working with students on their college essays.
